Health Care

I agree with the new Health Care policies, because I know of people who have diseases who can not get the proper surgery or pills needed because of there health insurance. With a grandmother dying from diabetes, a aunt and mother who has Lupis, I would hate to see a situation were something drastic happened and the doctors could not go on with medical procedure because insurance does not cover it. Then you have people like myself, in which I"am a college student who once I turned 23, who needed to get my teeth filled, and couldnt afford it out of pocket, especially because I was in school and not working. Now its 2 years later and I still have to wait to get dental work, what if was more serious? What if my teeth got worst or fell out, all because of health insurance. Everybody can not get medicaid, tried it. I heard on the radio the other day about a lady whose brother had died , because the doctors would not work on him because his insurance didnt cover it, therefore thousands are dying because either they have no health care or there health care insurance has holes in it, fine print I guess you can call it, and they act like its perfectly fine. I will be working soon, and I could care less if taxes go up, as long as people have a chance to get the proper medical attention. I understand that somepeople will try to get treatment or pills they dont neccessarily need just because they have the option, its loop holes in everything, we just have to stop blaming Obama for this matter. I still believe in him regardless of what the polls say, he can not please everyone, it seems like people are on his bandwagon one minute then off the next, they did not give Bush this hard of a time when he was in office, and I know 1st graders that make better decisions then him.

Mike Vick

I am a firm believer that everybody deserves a second chance. I am so hurt and upset that people have not forgiven Michael Vick and he apologized numerous times on national t.v. In church this past weekend my Pastor made a good point when he referred to verses in the bible saying how God will always forgive a man, but man will never let you forget your wrongs. I find it upsetting that this man was encarcerated for 2yrs, and lost 135 million dollars, he was the highest paid football player ever, until his bad decisions. I personally love animals, and I do not agree with what Michael did, but at the same time we all have problems, and where he is from in Virginia it was perfectly normal, he even mentioned in his 60 minutes interview below that the cops would get out the car realize it was a dog fight , and just leave. It might sound strange to city people like myself and maybe you, but somepeople fight dogs like hunters hunt deers just for their heads ( I would say is a fair comparison). I am glad Vick signed with a team, but I am upset he may have to sit out until week 6, when the season is almost halfway over, he did his time , let him play, and live his life, he is remorseful, im not saying forget what he has done, just move on.

Brett Favre

Brett Favre is no doubt one of the most exciting players I have ever seen. He is my favorite player, and I wouldnt mind seeing him play again, just not in Minnesota. The Vikings do not scare me as a Packers fan, but with the addition of Favre, the sky is the limit. They are a totally different team with Brett. The Vikings seem very desperate in trying to pursue Favre, and if he doesnt come back what kind of message is left for Tavaris Jackson?
