Community service
In this photo from left to right: Jermaine Smiley, Devin Wilkins, Tejay Solomon, Chris Jackson, Brandon Webb, Reginald D.Harris(me),Roger Phillips, Tyree Evans, Jermaine Clarke, Eric Smiley, James Ravenel.
All the brothers shown are in Philadelphia, PA at Citizens Bank Park for an Alzheimers Walk on a beautiful Saturday morning. I like this picture alot because there was a good number of brothers at this community service event, that represented Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity INC. to the fullest. The gentlemen in this picture are either in college or have already graduated from Delaware State University, which is a great "Achievement" in itself. There is a lot of positive energy amongst us all, as we continue to Achieve daily and strive to help the community, even if it is not our own. For a few of us, it was our first community service event as Kappa's. We continue to do a variety of different community service events monthly. Every brother above is heavily active with there respected chapters, and are stand outs in there own right. We are currently doing a clothing drive for the people of Haiti, and you can help as well by texting 90999 to donate $10 , which will be added to your cell phone bill. I love my brothers, the bond, legacy, and everything that a Kappa man stands for, joining this fraternity was one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I would not trade it for the world. Kapsi til I die!

Michael Jordan chooses David Thompson as Hall of Fame Presenter; Barkley, Chaney present as well
Michael Jordan chose David Thompson to present him as he is inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame this Friday, even though MJ never played for or with Thompson. It is very surprising that Michael chose David Thompson , former NBA star, and known for his days coaching at Georgetown, in which in the 82' National Championship Michael hit the game winning shot to boost the North Carolina Tarheels over the Georgetown Hoyas. Jordan highlights a class that includes David Robinson, John Stockton, and coaches Jerry Sloan of the Utah Jazz and C. Vivian Stringer of Rutgers. Each was asked to select a previous inductee to serve as a presenter at Friday's ceremony at Springfield, Mass. Jordan went with a surprise by asking Thompson, the athletic swingman who led North Carolina State to the national championship in 1974 — eight years before. Barkley will present David Sloan coach of the Utah Jazz, Isiah Thomas will present Utah Jazz point guard John Stockton. Vivian Stringer coach of Rutgers Women's team will be presented by John Chaney, were the two became friends at Chaney State divsion II basketball. Each Hall of Famer was asked to choose another Hall of Famer to induct them. Good choices, but of course the night will belong to Michael Jordan even though no one will admit it. In my opinion he should of been inducted seperately, just because of what he has done for the game of basketball. MJ is definitely the G.O.A.T. hands down, bar none.
